COWIfonden operates under the regulations outlined in the Danish Commercial Foundations Act (Act no. 321 of 20/03/2025). The foundation is subject to supervision by the Department of Civil Affairs and the Danish Business Authority, acting on behalf of the Ministry of Justice. 

As part of our commitment to good governance practices, COWIfonden adheres to the Recommendations on Foundation Governance (in Danish: Anbefalinger for god Fondsledelse) prepared by the Committee on Good Foundation Governance, published in December 2024. You can find more information in COWIfonden’s annual reports.
