COWIFONDEN

COWIfonden is a commercial, independent Danish foundation set up to develop the COWI Group in cooperation with its management and employees.

COWIfonden is subject to the Danish Commercial Foundations Act (act no. 712 of 25/06/2014), and the Department of Civil Affairs and the Danish Business Authority supervise the foundation on behalf of the Ministry of Justice.

COWIfonden complies with the "Recommendations on Corporate Governance" (in Danish: "Anbefalinger for god fondsledelse") prepared by the Committee on Corporate Governance and published December 2014.

The foundation supports research and development projects at universities and research institutions which have a long-term effect and make a contribution within the COWI Group's fields of activity.

COWIfonden welcomes David M MacKenzie as new Chair and Lars Green Lauridsen as a new member of COWIfonden's Board of Directors from 22 May 2023. COWIfonden is the majority shareholder in the COWI Group.
